COCNSA, established 2011, seeks to promote and enhance the clinical nurse specialists’ vital contributions to the central Ohio healthcare community. In conjunction with the NACNS, COCNSA will promote and advocate for the development and continued advancement of the CNS practice.
As we kick off 2012, COCNSA enters its second year as the local association dedicated to the advancement and promotion of the clinical nurse specialist within the Central Ohio community. In affiliation with NACNS, we will continue to cultivate awareness of the important roles the clinical nurse specialist fulfills not only in the acute care settings, but also within the community. CNSs continue to deliver high quality care to patients in hospitals, physicians’ offices, rural clinics as well as advocating for research and evidenced based practice. There is no better time than now to advance & promote the role of the CNS, especially in these economic times and changing healthcare climate.
